I was on a trip with my girlfriend, my best friend and his wife. My best friend and his wife just got married, and we were travelling all over europe together. The last leg of the journey was to my homeland Denmark. Then disaster struck. We didn't make our connecting flight from Istanbul to Copenhagen as our initial flight was a few hours delayed in Athens. Therefore we had to spend a night in Istanbul.
I had used a Airhelp before, and knew that european aviation law is very strict on specifically these things, and so i immediately contacted them. Their team went to "work" and a few days later came back with a solid "We do not have the resources to pursue your case, so we have to decline". In other words, they couldn't be bothered to send a standardized email to Pegasus requesting the money they owed me for the inconvenience of being dislocated for an entire day on my vacation.
