2022 MOCA-Peds Exam Content | The American Board of Pediatrics (2022)

Each year, you will receive one unique question for each of the 45 Learning Objectives drawn from the content outline that reflects the breadth of knowledge required for practice. The confidence and relevance ratings you submit with each response will help improve your MOCA-Peds experience, and will determine which questions you will see again as repeats in quarters 2, 3, and 4. You can review your ratings on the My Performance page. You will want to pay special attention to questions answered confidently but missed, for example; there's a good chance you’ll see those questions again in another quarter within the same calendar year.

Each year, select peer-reviewed journal articles or guidelines are featured. These readings were selected by a group of practicing pediatricians serving on a subboard or question-writing committee as being important for every pediatrician certified in the given discipline to read. Questions based primarily on these readings will appear in MOCA-Peds beginning in Quarter 2. Those engaged in MOCA-Peds will have access to these articles, at no additional charge, during the year they are featured. Until then, you might need a subscription to access some of the articles.

What is a passing MOCA score? ›

The reporting scale ranges from 1 to 300, with 180 designated as the passing score. Scores on this scale do not represent raw scores and cannot be used to determine the percent correct (i.e., a 180 on the 300-point scale does not mean that diplomates need a score of 60 percent to pass).

Do you get CME for MOCA peds? ›

Earn While Using The QuickRef for MOCA-Peds

Plus, you can claim 30 CME Credits and MOC points!

Does MOC count for CME? ›
